Trying to help a friend here who got confused by the whole bitcoin and bch fiasco. Person wanted bitcoin, but my friend got bch instead and sent to a bitcoin address. It was over $1000 dollars. Yes, I’ve since told him to check with me before so this never happens again.
Is there any way to recover it? The address it was sent to also has some coin sitting in it from a previous transaction. I know he will be grateful for any help, and If anyone can help recover them say 25% of what we get back?
He used the exchange called simplex?
Hi guys, I am brand new to Bitcoin and am needing some help. I recently purchased $65 dollars worth of Bitcoin through Coinbase in order to purchase something online at a discounted rate (30% discount for using crypto). Is that something that I will need to report when I file my taxes? I am just a little confused as to what needs to be reported or if any transaction done with Bitcoin falls into that category.
Thanks in advance!
Is it me or is Bitcoin Twitter dead? I see accounts with hundreds of thousands of followers, but reading through replies, I always see the same people over and over again. Same with Reddit. It’s like there’s only a few thousand people worldwide actually passionate about Bitcoin.
